We've added the state-of-the-art in multimodal vision models, with GPT-4-Vision.
We also updated Llava via fal.ai so inference there should be much faster too.

We've added experimental support to import and export .magpai files.
This will only be available for subscribed users, and will be improved over time.
The format and layout of these files is not locked, so expect changes. If there is any interest from other workflow platforms to collaborate on a standard workflow file format, we'd love to chat!

Gone are the days of 200 text replacer nodes in a row!
This is the first dynamic node on Magpai, dynamic inputs allow nodes to add or remove inputs dynamically.
The text formatter node will create a new input for every word in curly brackets.

The first few fal.ai nodes have been added!
These are super duper fast! Almost all our example workflows are now using these fal powered models.
Along with adding more soon, we will also be adding dynamic nodes for fal.ai and replicate.com.
These will be dynamic nodes that can load any version publically available on either provider. So you won't have to wait for us to upload them.
Once these are added, we will probably do a clean up of old nodes, and consolidate most AI functionality into more consumable, and discoverable functionality.
I.e we will have one Generate Image node and one Remove Background node. These will point to the best and fastest AI tools avaialble. Pro users can then use the dynamic nodes to add any functionality they may need.
But more to come here...

Searching for nodes was very difficult previously. We now have a full screen popup that includes thumbnails, improved descriptions, and better filters for categorizing!
We're still going through the backlog of nodes to update thumbnails and descriptions, but let us know what you think! The filtering process and UI needs a bit of a polish, but it's a distinct improvement from before (we think).
And if you liked the old minimal sidebar, you can switch back at anytime!

I've often debated if nodes should be the same width, or if they should be more free form and be resizable.
In the last few weeks, and my recent trip to SF & LA, lot' of people asked for it!
The last straw was when I took to twitter.
The demand was clear! So I added it.
This does mean old workflows will look a little messy, but I think overall this is a change for the better... I might add the ability to reset to "true size", but that can happen later!

Before now, you had to run your workflow via the frontend to run more than one node at once.
Now, you can run every connected node, including the current node. This essentially runs a small section of your workflow. Running only the connected, upstream nodes.
Clicking the running person icon acts the same, that runs the current workflow (Or you can press E)
Running the skiier will run every node in order, and then finally, the node you want.
In this example above, clicking the skiier on the bottom image generation will run ChatGPT, a text replacer (to format the prompt), and then finally, the image generation tool.
It's a small change, but it's a big improvement for those who want to run a small section of their workflow, and create an ad-hoc workflow!

You can now use Magpai as a whiteboard! This is mostly thanks to TlDraw!
Anything you note down is saved and synchronised to other users of the workflow. We will work on tighter integration to the selection and dragging capabilities (If you want to work on helping with this, reach out!).
Let us know how you like this! We think it's a pretty nice way to collaborate and use Magpai as a virtual review tool.

Subscribers of Magpai can now create API tokens, and run Workflows completely via an API. To find out how, view the beta version of our docs.
We will be broadening the capabilities of our API's over time, but for now, we've kept it simple..
Because most Magpai workflows complete in under a minute, and to keep things simple, the /api/v1/workflow/run endpoint is a blocking POST handler. A lot of other cloud based schedulers require you to call one endpoint to submit, and poll another for the status. This may end up being something we support in the future, but for now it seemed overly complicated.
The only downside of this is that progress is not reported. We are looking in to how we might be able to use a streaming response to provide this.

Subscribers of Magpai can now use custom Replicate and OpenAI API tokens. This circumvents the need for Magpai credits on associated nodes.
Any tier of subscription supports this, head to the pricing page to check out which tier makes sense for you.
Once subscribed, head over to your profile to setup.
If you need another provider than Replicate, Eleven Labs, or OpenAI, feel free to reach out to support.

Resizable nodes?? Yay or nay?
